Panch pokhari Trekking (5 lakes) is a Hindus religious place. Panch pokhari is named after 5 holy ponds, where the trekkers can see a sheet metal enclosed shrine to Shiva and the two metal roofted houses. This is just northeast of Kathmandu towards the snow wall. The beautiful Himalayan view and pristine nature with distinct culture is the most attraction of the trek. The trek starts from 1400 meters and goes up to 4000 meters at Panch pokhari, a seldom visited pilgrimage site and ends at the Tibetan border "Tatopani". The top of Panch pokhari trekking offers an excellent view of Jugal himal range, Rolwaling range, Gosainkunda etc. Panch pokhari trekking offers an ideal and interesting journey which gives the experience of lifetime.

Trip Itinerary

Day 01: Arrival in Kathmandu 1350m, Overnight at Kathmandu hotel.

Day 02: Kathmandu by drive to Chautara (1200m). Overnight at tented camp.

Day 03: Chautara trek to Phusre (2045m). Overnight at tented camp.

Day 04: Phurse trek to Kami kharka (2845m). Overnight at tented camp.

Day 05: Kami Kharka trek to Pauwa Bas (3000m). Overnight at tented camp.

Day 06: Pauwa Bas trek to Hille Bhanjyang (3400m). Overnight at tented camp.

Day 07: Hille Bhanjyang trek to Nasim Pati (3700m). Overnight at tented camp.

Day 08: Nasim Pati trek to Panch pokhari (4100m). Overnight at tented camp.

Day 09: Panch pokhari trek to Nasimpati (3700m). Overnight at tented camp.

Day 10: Nasimpati trek to Dukang (2100m). Overnight at tented camp.

Day 11: Dukang trek to Dhap (1200 m). Overnight at tented camp.

Day 12: Dukang trek to Dhap (1200 m). Overnight at tented camp.

Day 13: Melamchi bazaar-drive back to Kathmandu. Overnight at Kathmandu hotel.

Day 14: Sightseeing of Kathmandu valley heritage site. Overnight at hotel.

Day 15: Eco Trip Nepal representative will drop to airport for onward destination.
