Bhairav Kunda Trekking (a sanskrit phrase meaning holy lake), was named after a destructive aspect of Lord Shiva. Bhairav Kunda Trekking is located to the northeast of Kathmandu and right nex to Panch Pokhari but closer to the Nepal-Tibetan border. After 5 hours drive we arrive at the trek starting point called Jalbire. Jalbire is a traditional small town full of "Newari" culture. We are going to spend the first night of our outdoor adventure right nearby the small "newari" town of Jalbire. Bhairav Kunda trekking group has to be self-contained, as there are no lodges/tea houses. Due to this incredible latitudinal range and an unusual geographical and climatic mix, walking this area is a naturalist's dream.The last day we enjoy a scenic drive back to Kathmandu.

Trip Itinerary
Day 01: Arrival in Kathmandu 1350m, Overnight at Kathmandu hotel.
Day 02: Kathmandu drive to Jalbire (1000m). Overnight at local lodge. 4 to 5 hrs.
Day 03: Jalbire trek to Chanaute (1350m). Overnight at local lodge. 3 to 4 hrs.
Day 04: Chanaute trek to Khani Gaon (2000m). Overnight at local lodge. 5 to 6 hrs.
Day 05: Rest day with Local Village acclimitization. Overnight at local lodge.
Day 06: Khanigaon trek to Forest Camp (3150m). Overnight at local lodge. 6 to 7 hrs.
Day 07: Forest Camp trek to Pati (3765m). Overnight at local lodge. 4 to 5 hrs.
Day 08: Pati trek to Bhairav Kunda (4250m). Overnight at local lodge. 3 to 4 hrs.
Day 09: Bhairav Kunda trek Sherpa gaun 2500m. Overnight at local lodge. 6 to 7 hrs.
Day 10: Sherpa gaun trek Larcha (1500m) hot spring Kodari. Overnight at local lodge.
Day 11: Larcha to Kathmandu by drive. Overnight at Kathmandu hotel. 5 to 6 hrs.
Day 12: Sightseeing of Kathmandu valley heritage site. Overnight at Kathmandu hotel.
Day 13: Eco Trip Nepal representative will drop to airport for onward destination.
