Jugal Himal Trekking to the east Kathmandu lies a chain of peaks called Jugal himal, which includes Dorje Lakpa 6966 m. Madiya 6257 m. and Phurbi Chhyachu (6637 m). From the south it is an easily accessible region, although it requires a long uphill climb. From Dolalghat on the Kodari road there is jeep road to the large bazaar of Chautara (1410 m). A trail from Chautara descends to the Balephi Khola, then following a ridge to Bhairav Kunda, a holy lake at 3500 meters. You can return from there to Tatopani on the Kodari road or make a circuit around the head of the Balephi Khola Valley to Panch Pokhari (five lakes) at 3600 meters. From Panch Pokhari, trails lead to Tarke Gyang in Helambu or back down the ridge to Panchkhal on the Kodari road. This is a remote and unfrequented region, despite its proximity to Kathmandu. Treks in this area involve a lot of climbing on narrow trails.

Day 01: Arrival in Kathmandu 1350m, Overnight at hotel.
Day 02: After breakfast, drive to Melamchi. Overnight at Melamchi.
Day 03: Melamchi trek to Kakani. Overnight at Kakani.
Day 04: Kakani trek to Sermathang. Overnight at Sermathang.
Day 05: Sermathang trek to Yangri Khola. Overnight at Yangri Khola.
Day 06: Yangri Khola trek to Mulabari. Overnight at Mulabari.
Day 07: Mulabari trek to Nursampati. Overnight at Nursampati.
Day 08: Nursampati trek to Panch Pokhari. Overnight at Panch Pokhari.
Day 09: Day hike at Panch Pokhari. Overnight at Panch Pokhari.
Day 10: Panch Pokhari trek to Bheri Kharka. Overnight at Bheri Kharka.
Day 11: Bheri Kharka trek to Hile. Overnight at Hile.
Day 12: Hile trek to Okrin Danda. Overnight at Okrin Danda.
Day 13: Okrin Danda drive back to Kathmandu. Overnight at hotel.
Day 14: Sightseeing of Kathmandu. Overnight at hotel.
