Jiri to Everest base camp trek also known as Khumbu is famous not only because of the proximity of the world's highest Mountain-Mt.Everest but also for the Sherpa villages and it's monasteries.Other highlights of the trek are Namche (3440m.) bazaar, the wonderful view of Ama Dablam, Khumjung Museum and Tengboche (3870m.) Monastery.There are two options to get to Khumbu area. Driving to Jiri and walking from there or fly to Lukla (2800m.) straightway. The full-fledged trek that begins from Jiri involves a lot of ups and downs through different villages, some wonderfully beautiful-before reaching in mountain area, whereas flying to Lukla takes at once in the mountain area.

Trip Itinerary

Day 01: Arrival in Kathmandu (1350m). Overnight at hotel.

Day 02: Kathmandu drive to Jiri. Overnight at hotel 6-7 hours drive (1905m).

Day 03: Jiri trek to Deurali. Overnight at Deurali (2250m).

Day 04: Deurali trek to Sete. Overnight at Sete (2575m).

Day 05: Sete trek to Junbesi. Overnight at Junbesi (2675m).

Day 06: Junbesi trek to Nunthala. Overnight at Nunthala (2450m).

Day 07: Nunthala trek to Puyan. Overnight at Puyan (2830m).

Day 08: Puyan trek to Phakding. Overnight at Phakding (2830m).

Day 09: Phakding trek to Namche Bazaar. Overnight at Namche Bazaar (3480m).

Day 10: Namche Bazaar acclimatization day. Overnight at Namche Bazaar.

Day 11: Namche Bazaar trek to Tyangboche. Overnight at Tyangboche (3890m).

Day 12: Tyangboche trek to Pheriche. Overnight at Pheriche (4250m).

Day 13: Pheriche trek to Lobuche. Overnight at Lobuche (4910m).

Day 14: Lobuche trek to Gorakshep. Overnight at Gorakshep (5180m).

Day 15: Early morning hike to kala patthar 5545m. Overnight at Dingboche.

Day 16: Dingboche trek to Phortse village. Overnight at Phortse village (3890m).

Day 17: Phortse village trek to Namche Bazaar. Overnight at Namche Bazaar.

Day 18: Namche Bazaar trek to Lukla. Overnight at Lukla

Day 19: Lukla fly back to Kathmandu. Overnight at hotel.

Day 20: Sightseeing of Kathmandu valley. Overnight at hotel.

Day 21: Eco Trip Nepal representative will drop to airport for onward destination.
