Gokya cho la pass Everest base camp trekking offers you panoramic mountain views from every destination. Following the famous "Everest Trail" we trek to the prosperous village of Namche Bazaar and onwards, alongside the torrential Imtse Khola, to the high valley below Everest. During the course of this excellent and relatively easy-paced trek, we visit many delightful Sherpa villages, including the stunningly located Thyangboche with its impressive backdrop of Everest and Ama Dablam. We trek over the cho la pass onwards to Gokyo, where we rest for some side treks including a climb of Gokyo Ri for some fantastic views. A further three days are spent descending to Lukla for our flight to Kathmandu. A memorable flight from Kathmandu to the airstrip at Lukla takes us into an alpine world where the air is crystal clear and colorful prayer flags flutter from the rooftops.

Trip Itinerary

Day 01: Arrival in Kathmandu 1350m, Overnight at Kathmandu hotel.

Day 02: Fly to Lukla and trek to Phakding. Overnight at Phakding (2830m).

Day 03: Phakding trek to Namche Bazaar. Overnight at Namche Bazaar (3480m).

Day 04: Namche Bazaar acclimatization day. Overnight at Namche Bazaar.

Day 05: Namche Bazaar trek to Khumjung. Overnight at Khumjung (3840m).

Day 06: Khumjung trek to Dole. Overnight at Dole (4000m).

Day 07: Dole trek to Machhermo. Overnight at Machhermo (4400m).

Day 08: Machhermo trek to Gokyo Lake. Overnight at Gokyo lodge (4750m).

Day 09: Hike to Gokyo Ri/Gokyo peak (5350m) Overnight at Thangnak (4850m)

Day 10: Thangnak trek to Dzongla. Overnight at Dzongla (4800m).

Day 11: Dzongla trek to Lobuche. Overnight at Lobuche (4910m).

Day 12: Lobuche trek to Gorakshep. Overnight at Gorakshep (5180m).

Day 13: Early morning hike to kala patthar (5545m), Overnight at Dingboche (4345m).

Day 14: Dingboche trek to Tyangboche. Overnight at Tyangboche (3890m).

Day 15: Tyangboche trek to Namche Bazaar. Overnight at Namche Bazaar.

Day 16: Namche Bazaar trek to Lukla. Overnight at Lukla.

Day 17: Lukla by flight to Kathmandu. Overnight at Kathmandu hotel.

Day 18: Sightseeing of Kathmandu valley. Overnight at Kathmandu at hotel.

Day 19: Eco Trip Nepal airport representative will drop to airport for onward journey.
