Makalu Barun National Park is the Conservation Area in the heart of eastern Nepal. Makalu trekking is a nice trekking route for a trekkers who wishes to trek in long days Himalayan Adventure. The park covers altogether 2330 sq. km. among the several mountains which 830 are in Nepal.This trek follows the Barun Valley. The altitude climbs from the Arun Valley at only 435 meters above sea level to Makalu at 8463m,just 40 km.away from the valley.It's diversity it is a fantastic venue for more adventurous nature lovers.More than 3000 species of flowering plants have been recorded.The wildlife includes the endangered red panda,musk deer,Himalayan black bear, clouded leopard and possibly the snow leopard as well.Over 400 species of birds also thrive here. The best time to schedule Makalu trekking is between October-November or March-April when the passes are less likely to be covered in snow.

Day 04: Tumlingtar trek to Mane Bhanjayang. Overnight at tented camp.

Day 05: Mane Bhanjayang trek to Chichila. Overnight at tented camp.

Day 06: Chichila trek to Num. Overnight at tented camp.

Day 07: Num trek to Sheduwa. Overnight at tented camp.

Day 08: Sheduwa trek to Tashigaon. Overnight at tented camp.

Day 09: Tashigaon trek to Khongma. Overnight at tented camp.

Day 10: Khongma trek to Dobate. Overnight at tented camp.

Day 11: Dobate trek to Yangle Kharka. Overnight at tented camp.

Day 12: Yangle trek Kharka to Jar Kharka. Overnight at tented camp.

Day 13: Jar Kharka-Rest day. Overnight at tented camp.

Day 14: Jar Kharka trek to Base camp (5000m). Overnight at tented camp.

Day 15: Base camp trek to Yangle Kharka. Overnight at tented camp.

Day 16: Yangle Kharka trek to Thulo pokhari. Overnight at tented camp.

Day 17: Thulo pokhari trek to Tashi Gaon. Overnight at tented camp.

Day 18: Tashi Gaon trek to Num. Overnight at tented camp.

Day 19: Num trek to Bhote bas. Overnight at tented camp.

Day 20: Bhote bas trek to Tumlingtar. Overnight at tented camp.

Day 21: Tumlingtar fly back to Kathmandu. Overnight at hotel.

Day 22: Sightseeing of Kathmandu valley. Overnight at Kathmandu hotel.

Day 23: Eco Trip Nepal representative will drop to airport for onward destination.
