Day one takes us to the vast scintillating Yamdrok Lake on the way to Gyantse; visit famous Pelkhor and Kumbum stupa. Shigatse is the next stop where we visit the great Tashilunpo monastery, seat of the Panchen Lama. After Shigatse, we drive towards Sakya, an ancient monastery and head towards Everest base camp North face. The next two days cover the high plateau approaching the great spine of the Himalaya, Everest, Cho Oyu and Shishapangma. The two 5000m road passes are quite unbelievable viewpoints.
