The Everest or Solu Khumbu region is the most popular trekking area in Nepal. It would be the most popular destination in Nepal Himalaya. Everest or Solu Khumbu region is located eastern part of Nepal and protected by the Sagarmatha National Park, established in 1976 with an area of 1148 square kilometers. To get near Everest, you must either walk for 10 days or fly to Lukla, a remote and infamously unreliable mountain airstrip.

Everest region is famous, not only for its closeness to the world’s highest mountain (8848 meters), which is known in Nepal as "Sagarmatha" the goddess mother of the world, has been the greatest attraction for nature lovers and trekkers equally. But also attraction for its Sherpa villages and monasteries. The primary goal of an Everest trek is the Everest base camp at an elevation of about 5340 meters. But you cannot see Mount Everest from the Everest base camp, so most trekkers climb Kala Pattar, an unassuming 5545m bump on the southern flank of Mt. Pumori (7145 m). From kala pattar you will see closed views of the Mt. Everest and other more mountains such as Mt. Lhotse, Mt. Nuptse, Mt. Amadablam, Mt. Pumori , Mt.
